The borders of the EU remain closed for Ukrainian tourists.
The European Union opened the borders for Ukrainian tourists after improving epidemically with the coronavirus in Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
“We thought: roughly, if we have in two weeks the number of cases will not exceed 460-480 sick,” he said.
Now in Ukraine the dynamics of incidence of coronavirus in the past two weeks exceeds the standards adopted in the European Union, said Stepanov.
Recall, the EU Council allowed from July 1 to open the border for certain categories of Ukrainians: sailors traveling on the ship, citizens traveling on EU transit, skilled workers, if their work cannot be postponed or performed remotely.
Also, the EU will be able to enter from Ukraine students of European universities. General prohibition on non-critical travel of citizens of Ukraine to the European Union from 1 July retained.
