The Verkhovna Rada has allocated additional UAH 2 billion to overcome the consequences of floods in Western Ukraine. The draft amendments to the budget deputies adopted at an extraordinary meeting of Parliament, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Comments.

The law increases 2 000,0 mln UAH, the volume of reserve Fund of the state budget.

According to the information given in the explanatory note, the Ministry of environmental protection and natural resources of Ukraine, Zakarpattya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi regional state administration, said the minimum additional need for funds in the sum more than 1,4 billion hryvnias. The money for restoring the corrupted habits of facilities and assistance to the affected population.

Earlier, the Cabinet proposed to allocate additional funds for flood relief. The draft amendments to the state budget the government approved at its extraordinary meeting.
