The majority of respondents – of 43.44% admitted that they have no savings

After the news about the resignation of the head of the national Bank of Yakov Smoliy the majority of Ukrainians decided to keep their savings in national currency.

This is indicated by the results of the poll, the results of which were aired socio-political talk show “Freedom of speech Savik Shuster” , which comes out in live TV channel “Ukraine”.

So, most of the respondents of 43.44% admitted that they have no savings, and therefore they have nothing to go to the exchangers, 42,48% of respondents kept their savings in local currency. 7,2% of Ukrainian respondents intend to purchase currency, and of 6.87% already did it.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal stressedthat the legislation of Ukraine issued so that the change of the head of the NBU will not affect the rate and stability of currency.

As you know, the resignation of the head of the national Bank pushed the dollar and the Euro.

On Friday, July 3, the national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has calculated the official rate of hryvnia against major foreign currencies: 1 US dollar – 27,18 UAH; 1 Euro 30,67 UAH 10 Russian rubles – UAH 3,86.

Thus, compared to yesterday’s values, the dollar soared from 41 penny after growth for nine cents in the previous banking day. Dollar for the first time since April 21 has exceeded the psychological mark of 27 hryvnia. For a week – from June 26 to July 3 – the national currency weakened against the us dollar 48 cents.
