The Cabinet of Ministers extended the ban on working of children’s recreation camps by 31 July. This was announced by the Minister of health, Maxim Stepanov at the briefing, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
According to him, this is due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the country.
“You just have to pay attention to the figures that we have on coronavirus disease daily: the number of new cases, the number of people who every day are hospitalized, the number of people dying from coronavirus disease — and then it is much easier to understand why we do not allow to operate children’s summer camps,” he said.
The Minister reminded that camps resting a large number of children from different regions, so during the holidays in these camps possible outbreak COVID-19.
“It is for these reasons — because it’s a massive number of children who immediately put together, it was decided government to ban the opening of children’s summer camps until July 31, 2020,” he concluded.
