The most difficult situation — in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
From the reserve Fund in Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Transcarpathian and Lviv oblasts allocated UAH 754 million to recover from floods. The decision adopted by the Cabinet at a meeting on Thursday, June 25, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
The Cabinet supported the proposal of the Minister of economic development Igor Petrashko. Thus stands out:
- Ivano-Frankivsk region — UAH 480 million.
- Chernivtsi region — 30 million UAH.
- Zakarpattia oblast — UAH 30 million.
- Lviv region — UAH 10 million.
In addition, GOSPODARSTVO provided 92 million UAH, and the state forest Agency — 30 million UAH for work in these areas.
In turn, interior Minister Arsen Avakov has proposed to allocate UAH 82 million, the Ministry of interior, of whom 41 million for SSES, 22 million — to the National guard, 19 million Netpolicy to eliminate elements in five regions: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil and Zakarpattya. The Cabinet supported this proposal.
At the same time, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal told that the West finally felt easing.
According to Smigel, is now a priority “the provision of food, water, evacuation, temporary accommodation, equipment for rescuers, disinfection of wells, where there is no drinking water, enhancing public safety, with the aim of preserving the property of citizens who have been evacuated to avoid looting”.
The Prime Minister says that where infrastructure was built securely according to all regulations, there is less loss. Smigel instructed to develop the relevant ministries projects contributing to the elimination of the causes of such disasters. We are talking about fixing levees, coastal, conservation of floodplains and to avoid illegal logging.
The first step Smigel called audit of SFA and the change of heads of forest enterprises, which for years held their positions. The Cabinet will also agree on the project national forest inventory and Ukrainian forests can be seen in inventories.
Finally, Smigel announced the visits of President Vladimir Zelensky in the regions that are most affected.
