Updated crossover Nissan Kicks showed in Japan


In the Japanese market debut of the updated crossover Nissan Kicks.

Sales will start June 30 at a price of 2.7 million yen ($24845), reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Browser.

Presented last month in Thailand, subcompact crossover, which in the hierarchy is a notch below the Juke, has received the Japanese “residence”. The novelty will be offered with a hybrid powertrain that includes a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol motor, traction motor and a small lithium-ion battery energy only 1.57 kWh. In the motion model driven by an electric motor, and the energy it provides for the internal combustion engine, performs the function of aggregate.


The total capacity of the power unit is 129 HP and torque (260 Nm) available right from the start. The driver can choose between 4 modes of system operation: Normal, S, Eco and EV.

In addition, Kicks offers a system of semiautomatic control ProPilot, which provides control over the preservation of a safe distance, holding lanes, automatic emergency braking and to prevent mistaken use of the accelerator pedal.


The novelty will be available in 13 different exterior colors, including 4 two-tone option. From the predecessor model has a larger grille and different lighting.

In the cabin there are new colors and trim materials and also new touch screen with a diagonal 7 or 8 inches depending on configuration.
