Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal flew to Ivano-Frankivsk region to coordinate the work on overcoming of consequences of bad weather. About this he wrote on his page on Facebook on the morning of Wednesday, June 24, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.

“The terrible floods in the Carpathians, Bukovina and Transcarpathia. Fly to Ivano-Frankivsk region, to coordinate the activities of the authorities in overcoming the effects of bad weather,” wrote Smigel.

According to gschs, as of 7:00 a.m. remain flooded 187 settlements (Ivano-Frankivsk — 161, Chernivtsi — 15, Lviv — 8); — 4 thousand 976 houses (Ivano-Frankivsk — 4444, Chernivtsi — 422, Lviv — 110) 5 medical stations in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 3 thousand flooded basements 302 (Ivano-Frankivsk — 2935, Chernivtsi — 257, Lviv — 110), 9 389 thousand household plots (Ivano-Frankivsk — 8688 Chernivtsi — 533, Lviv — 168), 3 thousand 286 wells ( Ivano-Frankivsk — 3 thousand 136 and Lviv — 150) traffic has been disrupted from 8 localities (Chernivtsi — 6, Lviv — 2).

With the effects of bad weather fighting almost 1.5 thousand people, and 333 pieces of equipment.

We will remind, in the Carpathian and Bukovina declared red level of danger because of the deteriorating weather conditions. In Ivano-Frankivsk region the death toll was three.
