What will change for Ukrainians.
From 1 July 2020 in Ukraine once again increased the monetary amount of the subsistence minimum. This will entail the increase of the amount of a number of welfare benefits, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Country.
So, updated the living wage from July will be:
- the overall rate per person per month — 2 118 UAH;
- for children up to 6 years — 1859 UAH;
- for children aged 6 to 18 years — 2318 UAH;
- for able-bodied persons — UAH 2197;
- for individuals no longer able to work — 1 712 hryvnias.
The minimum wage
The minimum wage for a month, which at the moment is 4 723 UAH, will not change throughout 2020. Also will not change and the minimum official salary (the tariff rate).
Indexation of wages
The wage index within the subsistence minimum established for able-bodied persons, which from 1 July will be 2 197 USD.
The unemployment benefit cannot exceed 4 times the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons. Its maximum size since the first of July will amount to UAH 8 788.
The minimum pension
July 1, 2020, the minimum pension will reach 1 712 USD.
Also will increase the allowance to the pensioners for length of service (monthly fee for those who have experience for more than 30 years (women) or 35 years (men). It is 1% of the minimum pension for each additional year. From 1 July to 17.12 UAH.
A minimum amount of maintenance
From 1 July the minimum guaranteed amount of child support per child, which may not be less than 50% of the subsistence minimum for a child of appropriate age will be:
for children under 6 years — UAH 929,50;
for children aged 6 to 18 years — UAH 1 of 159.00.
