What will change for Ukrainians.
The Ministry of internal Affairs proposed to change the order of the first registration of vehicles which are imported to Ukraine from abroad. In particular, can impose a ban on the import of car purchase under the recycling, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Browser.
This is stated on the website of MVS in the proposed draft resolution. If the changes are accepted, to deliver converted from cargo to passenger cars will be problematic.
What changes I propose to make:
- Prohibited first registration used/vans, if they were converted from cargo to passenger.
- For registration of vehicles imported to Ukraine, as before, need to check the certificate of conformity. But if enough copies, in the case of the adoption decree a document check through the register of the issued certificates.
- Delivery to Ukraine of broken cars “under utilization” is prohibited. To register you will only get a car with the registration certificate. Certificate of recycling, as it is now, is not suitable.
- For second-hand motor vehicles will require the translation of documents on its registration abroad. Translated documents will be available only through the Consulate or the authorities of other States.
“Without legalizing such documents are accepted in cases when it is stipulated by the legislation of Ukraine, international treaties in which Ukraine participates. Such documents can also be sealed with the official stamp in accordance with the requirements of the Convention on legal assistance and legal relations in civil, family and criminal matters of 22 January 1993, unless otherwise stipulated by international agreements of Ukraine”, – is spoken in the draft resolution.
If the Cabinet adopts the proposed interior changes, sellers and deliverers have to spend on the translation of documents into Ukrainian and stamped on them of an apostille. These costs, most likely, they’ll lay in the final price tag for the buyer.
