Protesters demolished statues of former presidents, which they consider to be slave owners.
In Portland, USA, the protesters demolished the monument to the first U.S. President George Washington. Video of the incident posted on YouTube, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
It is noted that the first small group of protesters threw a monument to the US flag and burned it.
When the protesters became more, they threw the statue of Washington, and painted it, causing, in particular, the inscription “1619” — the year when the U.S. came the first slaves.
