The Ukrainian side is configured in a diplomatic “offensive”.
The government of Ukraine has at least four “red lines” in the negotiations on the Donbass, which they in any case do not cross. This was stated by the foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to the Correspondent.
“I can articulate “red lines”, which we will not cross. The first is direct dialogue (“LDNR” – ed.), the second – we will demand the establishment of Ukrainian control over the border and never give up on this idea. Third – no elections will be held in the occupied territories of Donbass in the presence of the occupying Russian troops and illegal armed groups, the fourth – we strive for the reintegration of individual regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, but not according to the Russian scenario, when they have some “veto power” on a national solution in the Ukraine” – listed Kuleba.
According to him, the Ukrainian side in the negotiations on the Donbass is configured to diplomatic “offensive” and impose the agenda, not waiting until it is forced upon her.
At the same time, the question about what trade-offs are ready the Ukraine at the Donbas, he did not respond.
“If I’ll manifest all at once compromises, first, the weakening of the negotiation position. Second, compromises are possible in negotiations,” – said Kuleba.
