The Cabinet expects economic growth in the third quarter

According to him, the government sees a critical threat to the economy of Ukraine in the next few months.
“We’re pretty confident, not to say optimistic, but we are confident about the implementation of the activities of the economic and budget this year. We do not see critical threats, which would be in August, September or October. The economy is stable. The situation is complicated, but some surprises that will bring down and lead to a global catastrophe no. There is a very complex crisis situation, but the crisis is complex and stable. Therefore, we do not see today the collapse, or doomsday, or the end of the economy”, — said Smigel.
The Prime Minister also noted that economic growth is expected in the third quarter.
“We have the macroeconomic forecasts of development of economy of Ukraine. The forecast from the IMF, we expect third quarter economic growth. That is of course that the second quarter failed due to quarantine and coronaries,” said Smigel.
