The President presented the new head of Service
The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky asked to carry out the reform of the foreign intelligence Service. The corresponding order the President gave the new head of Service Valery Kondratyuk, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to RBC.
According to Zelensky, the priority in the activities of the foreign intelligence Service should be an effective identification of potential threats, help in the return of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, protection of national economic interests, promoting the military-industrial complex, opposition to hostile information operations and the protection of Ukrainians abroad.
“These tasks require optimization of the organizational structure, all aspects of intelligence operations and training of the staff of the Ukrainian foreign intelligence. Valery Vitalievich, I instruct you professionally to reform the foreign intelligence Service of Ukraine, entering a modern model of management of intelligence activities, personnel, and strategic communications,” — said the President.
