Zelensky urged to improve conditions in children’s camps

This was discussed at a meeting on preventing the spread of COVID-19 with Vladimir Zelensky, the press service of the President’s Office.

“It’s a lot of kids, and the rules of their stay in terms of the coronavirus should be seriously considered. At the same time, most of the camps we have quite outdated condition. Now have a good opportunity to conduct their audit, be repaired, where necessary, to improve the criteria for their quality, comfort, and nutrition of children,” said Zelensky.

In turn, Minister of healthcare Maxim Stepanov said that every year in summer camps the rest of the country to 1.2 million children. According to him, the Cabinet has already allowed the operation of recreation facilities and will consider the President’s proposal to improve the quality of work of summer camps.

Also Premier Denis Shmyhal said that the Cabinet is attentive to who data about the deterioration of the situation with coronavirus at the global scale, and that the greatest threat today is complacency.
