MH17: the bodies of the crew of the plane found the wreckage of the rocket Buk

The bodies of the crew were identified 29 steel debris.

The bodies of the crew members shot down over the Donbas region in 2014, flight MH17 have found the wreckage. This was announced by the Dutch public Prosecutor Thijs Berger in the course of the trial in the case of the tragedy of the Malaysian Boeing, reports the with reference to the Correspondent.

“Australian investigators helped to prove that the fragments found in the wreckage of MH17 and the bodies of victims come from Russian missiles,” — wrote the publication.

So, in October 2014, the Australian Federal police went to Ukraine for the analysis of two missiles Buk — M938 old and new 9M38M1.

The experts have found three unique forms of fragmentation, such as tiles, brick and a butterfly — inside dismantled in Ukraine missiles. Compared even mold and magnetic properties of the material of the missiles.

The Pakistani newspaper, quoting Berger reports that the bodies of the crew were identified 29 steel debris. And one of them had the shape of a butterfly exactly. The medical examiner found it in the body of the captain of the crew.

A similar fragment found in the cockpit. This is the only two fragments of the total withdrawn at the crash site, have preserved this expressive form.

In both publications noted that the crime lab analyzed the wreckage, found the similarities with the newer anti-aircraft missile system Buk — 9M38M1 than missiles 9M38.

Thus, it refutes the conclusions of the Russian state arms company Almaz-Antey, which previously claimed that the Boeing was downed by a 9M38 missile, the latest of which was released in the USSR in 1986.

Even the Prosecutor of the Berger rejected at the meeting of the version that the explosion occurred inside the plane.

Criminologists who examined the bodies of the dead crew members found them in steel fragments with traces of melted glass of the cockpit.

“These metal fragments struck the glass before he hit the body of the victims and that could only happen in the case of external explosion,” he explained.

Experts analyzed data from the cockpit voice recorder, which allowed to establish the location of the epicenter of the explosion and found that he could be on the left, slightly above the level of the cockpit. Investigation of the wreckage of the fuselage, held by the Netherlands forensic Institute (NFI), also showed that the damage on the outside could not be obtained as a result of influence from the inside. Their findings were supported by a field explosion test of Buk missiles, conducted on the territory of Ukraine.

“The interim conclusion is that it is possible to exclude the version of the explosion on Board the aircraft as the cause of the crash and there is no need to continue the investigation in this direction. Recording voice recorder, damage analysis, carried out by the security Council of the Netherlands, and the conclusions of the NFI may be compatible only with the version of an external explosion and not the explosion on Board”, — concluded the Prosecutor.
