“More than 40 aircraft, and dozens of antiaircraft missile systems, hundreds of troops from Ukraine and almost 10 NATO countries will be involved in the largest for years of independence of Ukraine international exercises in aviation units, which will begin in mid-October 2018”, – stated in the message.

It is tentatively planned that the teaching of Pure sky-2018 will last about two weeks.

“Working out of tactical problems without the use of military weapons will be in the area of certain airports, mainly in the Western part of Ukraine, and also over the territory of Poland and Romania”, – said the defense Ministry.

The Ukrainian side will be involved about 20 different types of aircraft, helicopters and UAVs, fixed and mobile radar units and mobile fire team of air defense units.

USA will provide both flight crews and ground forces and means, in General, in Ukraine there will arrive more than 10 units of aircraft (F-15C/D, C-130, KC-135, the UAV MQ-9) and several specialists from the number of ground technical staff, search and rescue teams, guard units, aeromedical evacuation, cyber security.

Together with Ukrainian and American pilots tasks in the sky will perform their Polish and Romanian colleagues on the F-16C.
