The Supreme judicial chamber of Moldova on Monday, June 25, upheld the decision of the Appeals chamber on the recognition results of elections of the mayor of Chisinau, reports citing .
“The Supreme court upheld the decision of the Appeals chamber on the recognition results of the local elections in Chisinau,” – said in the message.
According to information, 19 June the Chisinau court of acknowledged local elections void, and after the appeals chamber upheld the first instance decision.
Note that the election for mayor of Chisinau was held on 20 may 2018. Dorin Chirtoaca, suspended in 2017 from office during the investigation of criminal case about corruption, announced on February 16 about his resignation.
